Adventurer's Certificate

seal blank.png

An adventurer's certificate is an official parchment issued by the Dogma monarchy. Every soot dwarf, that travels to the outside world, is issued one. The government uses these certificates to keep track of its citizens.

An adventurer's certificate is completely optional to design. However, every MYO soot dwarf has one. Think of it as a business card mixed with a drivers license. Designing an adventurers license helps other people know the stats of your dwarf, and for you to keep track of what they’ve done.

An adventurers certificate comes in two parts: the information that would be canon to the lore, and the information only used by the group. The canon information would be what your dwarf would have on their certificate, the non-canon information is stats, friendship levels, and upgrades.

The adventurer's certificate comes in a little leather-bound booklet, similar to a passport. The first page is used for basic information, while the rest of the pages are used for issuing achievements/honors in the form of stamps.

When making your own certificate. Draw the first page, detailing the soot dwarf’s name, age, date of birth, and headshot.

What you choose to add in the description of the deviation is up to you. You could add upgrades, relationship statuses, quests completed, personality traits, and more. It’s up to you to decide how you want to portray your character.

Feel free to use the template above, which you can download here. Or, you are more than welcome to make your own.

An adventurer's certificate is also a great way of keeping track of items.

Besides from a select few specialty items, items you obtain from the doubloon shop are not tracked by the group.

Keeping a log of what items you have helps to make sure your hard earned doubloons don't go to waste.
